Legendary Xscape member Tamika Scott is driving excessive on Household Affair, her first solo undertaking since her reunion with the enduring ’90s group.
On her solo debut, Scott brings all the weather that embody a traditional R&B work — sultry manufacturing, highly effective vocals, and tenacious themes make Household Affair a go-to undertaking for all ages.
On the empowering “Nearly Over,” launched again in August, Scott offers a few of her greatest vocals up to now over a brilliant R&B manufacturing singing the lyrics, “All the things occurs for a motive / Sure, that is your season / Simply carry on believing / Blessings you’ll be receiving.”
The six-track undertaking options visitor appearances from 112’s Q Parker, musical duo OSHUN and Scott’s daughter Younger Niyah.
“My inspiration for my new EP Household Affair is having the ability to share my first solo undertaking with my household,” Scott solely tells Rated R&B. “There’s alot of expertise in my household and we stroll round our residence creating and having a superb time, so it feels good to have the ability to put a few of the issues on my undertaking.”
Household Affair serves as a follow-up to Scott’s debut lead single “Tonite,” launched again in April.
