Daniel Caesar Drops Spotify Singles EP With a New Model of 2019 Hit ‘Cyanide’

Should you’re in search of some new tunes from Daniel Caesar, you then’re in luck. 

The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter dropped a single of two oldie-but-goodie tracks, an ode to the timeless 7” single format, solely on Spotify.

Caesar’s newest providing is revamped model of the 2019 hit “Cyanide” from his sophomore album Case Examine 01 and a rendition of Bitty McLean and Sly & Robbie’s “Made to Fall in Love.”

On the previous, Caesar pulls again on the rhythm of his preliminary recording, making for a uncooked, soulful sound that retains his signature vocal intact. The latter slows issues down from McLean and Sly & Robbie’s authentic report to a swooning tempo made serene but nonetheless danceable.

On his choice to cowl “Made to Fall in Love,” he commented “It seems like I’m driving via Ocho Rios with the highest down each time I hear ‘Made to Fall in Love.’ It makes me smile each time.”
