R&B songstress Deborah Cox returns with an accompanying music video for her newest single “Straightforward Approach.” The Grammy-nominated artist, elegantly dressed, sings concerning the hardships of affection in a chilly, barren-looking dwelling within the visible.
Cox first advised us there was no “Straightforward Approach” to like after dropping the monitor in November. Now the video, directed by Parris (who’s labored with Lil Wayne, Cee Lo Inexperienced, Enrique Iglesias, and Rick Ross), divulges the space between Cox and her love curiosity. However neither leaves the house, regardless of the message of it being straightforward to surrender.
“Straightforward strategy to depart, straightforward strategy to go, straightforward strategy to run straight up out that door / Straightforward strategy to give up, there’s a simple method of giving up / There’s no straightforward strategy to keep when it hurts a lot, particularly whenever you suppose you’ve had sufficient / Ain’t no straightforward strategy to love, love, love.”
Achieved hit-maker Rico Love co-produced and penned “Straightforward Approach.” It’s the primary single from Cox’s forthcoming studio album, a return from her final mission, “The Promise,” again in 2008.
