The oddly named NEVER SLEEP BOY (typically simply NSB… do not ask… we all know little or no) is a brand new artist who says he obtained into music – enjoying and writing at simply age 7! His folks inform us that his influences are folks like Curtis Mayfield, Donna Summer season, The Bee Gees, MFSB, Stylish and Nile Rogers, Earth Wind and Hearth, Kool and the Gang, Michael Jackson, James Brown, The Temptations, The Whispers, Marvin Gaye, The O’Jays and The Spinners!
You may hear bits of all these influences (and extra) on what we expect is NSB’s debuting single – the upbeat and extremely optimistic ‘Let’s Really feel The Evening’. He say that the monitor is homage to Studio 54 in New York however it would not have sounded misplaced at any 80s UK soul weekender. The tune’s out now and effectively value investigating!
