Jojo Covers Maxwell’s ‘Fairly Wings’

Jojo belts her coronary heart out to Maxwell’s 2009 hit single “Fairly Wings” for the Recording Academy’s ReImagined Sequence.

Stripped right down to a piano, an upright bass and some background vocalists, the “Mad Love” singer breathes new life into the Grammy-winning monitor with some awe-inspiring vocal inflections that paint “Fairly Wings” in a brand new gentle.

Proceeds from the Maxwell cowl will go to the MusiCares COVID-19 Aid Fund, in an effort to fight the continued pandemic. 

“We ReImagined one in all my favourite songs by one in all my favourite artists @_MAXWELL_ from his wonderful BLACKsummers’night time album for @RecordingAcad,” Jojo tweeted following the monitor’s launch.

The Vermont-born artist launched her fourth album Good to Know again in Could to important and industrial acclaim, hovering to the highest 10 of Billboard Prime R&B Albums chart.
