It’s been over two years since Ledisi launched her Grammy-nominated album Let Love Rule. The eloquent vocalist returns in real love type with the romantically nice single “Something For You.”
This warm-hearted composition is enhanced by the wealthy texture of Ledisi’s jazz-tinged notes, as she soulfully describes her romantic dedication to her man.
If “Something For You” is any indication of what her subsequent album will sound like, her career-long followers will certainly be all ears.
Ledisi has been secretly engaged on the follow-up to 2017’s Let Love Rule. She did slip up and present herself within the studio final September in a now-deleted picture with legendary songwriter / producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.
