Hearken to the hook of this tune and you will perceive why I’ve grow to be an enormous fan. That is just about all I’ve (and all I actually need) to say about this.
In all seriousness although, Marie Dahlstrom’s new single “Wandering” is an on the spot hit with me. The tune is sort of a misleading one, because it opens up as what appears to be laid-back soulful tune, however round thirty-seconds-in, that killer hook with the distinction of rhythm within the vocal sample is available in, and… nicely I’ve already mentioned all I have to say about that.
Musically, “Wandering” achieves that excellent stability of being each a soulful R&B jam in addition to a killer indie-pop hit. All of which is tied along with delicate but fantastically clean-sounding guitar licks (and that little solo for the bridge is tasteful and never in your face).
All in all “Wandering” is a bop and deserves to be in your ears this summer time.
