The five-time NBA champion, alongside together with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Marie-Onore Bryant, have been among the many 9 victims concerned in a deadly helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. As information surfaced, a sports activities followers worldwide flooded social media with condolences and expressions of disbelief.
Later that night, R&B singer Alicia Keys led a gap tribute to Kobe Bryant and Gianna throughout the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards that passed off within the “home that Kobe constructed,” the Staples Heart.
