Reggae sensation Skip Marley has a factor for R&B artists. After teaming up with H.E.R. for his hit single “Gradual Down,” the Jamaica-born artist enlists D.C. native Ari Lennox for his new monitor “Make Me Really feel.”
Over a cool manufacturing, paying homage to a mid-tempo summer season bop from the early ’00s, Marley and Lennox sing about benefiting from what life has to supply.
“Let’s make this life / Even via the dangerous occasions / Noting can kill this vibe / So long as I really feel the way in which you make me really feel,” Marley sings on the refrain, as Lennox’s ethereal vocals float within the background.
